About
Jacqueline Yu is an aspiring architect, holding degrees in Architecture MArch and Architecture BSc from UCL Bartlett School of Architecture, renowned as the world's top architecture school. Equipped with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail, Jacqueline brings a fresh perspective to every project.
In 2022, Jacqueline created a comprehensive manufacturing design package for the acoustic mesh panelling at TRANSIT STUDIO LTD and explored concrete panel options for the EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney) concert hall. She also contributed to White's Club (Grade I Listed), meticulously modelling and producing detailed architectural packages and options for a metropolitan roof terrace with accessible lift solutions.
During her time at CRAB STUDIO, renowned architect Peter Cook's studio in 2021, Jacqueline played a role in the Serendipity Arts Foundation Live Museum project. She excelled at visualisation, conducted texture experimentations, and created walkthrough animations and architectural diagrams. Jacqueline actively participated in physical modelling to effectively communicate the design vision.
In 2020, Jacqueline contributed to the Tai Tam Tuk Historic Building Revitalization Scheme competition at Studio Zhai in Hong Kong. Jacqueline engaged in client meetings, focusing on a design methodology aligned with the project's holistic living concept. She also prepared project documents, design proposals, and presentations.
